As Jigar used to say
“Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down”.
Today, being efficient, nice and maximising our performance have become a daily struggle for many of us. Practicing yoga, is not about how “perfect and beautiful” your asana (posture) will be, it allows us to connect to our inner self, act with kindness without judgement, find balance, serenity, wisdom, become truer to ourselves and set us free.
When the mind is quiet, thoughts stop, we reconnect to ourselves and to each other and create that union (yoga) leading us to happiness and wisdom.
